Alentejo hospital wants to offer doctors and nurses accessible housing

The Hospital do Litoral Alentejano is working on a proposal for doctors and nurses to be offered accessible housing: rental contracts, for periods of up to five years. The objective is to attract health professionals to the region which suffers perennially from a lack of talent willing to move to the area. The idea is to construct a minimum of 20 homes for rental, using money available under the PRR (plan for recovery and resilience). As reports explain, the proposal is still being  worked on. It is unlikely to be presented to the government (whichever government wins the elections in March) before June.
