The Christmas event returns to the coastal town from November 29 to December 1 with a fresh approach to supporting and protecting local artists and their creations.
Ferragudo’s Parish Council is holding another edition of the popular Artenata fair between November 29 and December 1 in the Largo Rainha D. Leonor and adjacent streets.
The fair returns this year to reinforce its objectives since its creation: safeguarding products and local artists.
The 17th edition of the three-day event is designed for artists who create handcrafted, artistic, or decorative works.
Artenata showcases the talents of Algarve artisans, enhancing the quality of the exhibition and highlighting each participant’s unique contributions to their audience and respective markets.
This year, the fair opens at 17h00 on Friday the 29th, with a new format and a live DJ set on the first evening.
On other days, Artenata opens at 10h00, with around 40 exhibitors expected to participate. There will be lots of street entertainment, children’s entertainment, dance music, and Christmas spirit.
Artists interested in participating must submit their application by November 15 using the QR code in the below image.
