Last Sunday afternoon, Farense found themselves in complete control during the opening 45 minutes at Arouca and went into the break with a more than deserved lead thanks to a 44th-minute Derick Poloni thunderbolt.
The hosts returned with more purpose, however, and the encounter turned into a pulsating contest once Trezza had levelled the scores.
Dylan Nandin put Arouca ahead after 67 minutes before Rony Lopes apparently restored parity, only for VAR to take an eternity to chalk off the effort.

On Friday evening, Portimonense travelled to high-flying Penafiel and were comprehensively outplayed. Early strikes from André Silva and Robinho put the hosts in control before a 45th-minute Yuki own goal added insult to injury.
The Algarveans managed an improved second half performance without ever seriously threatening the Penafiel goal and will be hoping for a better showing back on home turf against Leixões this coming Sunday morning (11am kick-off).
