Farense have been busy planning for the season ahead with two new signings.
Brazilian 21-year-old goalkeeper Kaique has put pen to paper on a one-year loan deal from Palmeiras, while 23-year-old centre back Marco Moreno has signed from Atlético de Madrid B.
Meanwhile, Marseille are the latest club to express strong interest in 22-year-old Algerian international Mohamed Belloumi who is also wanted by Club Brugge and Parma.
Further west, Portimonense have picked up 21-year-old forward Vinicius Kanu from the Brazilian third tier in an attempt to finally unearth a replacement for the prolific Beto who also arrived via the lower leagues before moving on to Udinese and now Everton.
The relegated Algarveans are still hoping for a reprieve and subsequent reinstatement once the league’s licensing process is concluded on June 28.
