On November 29, the Conrad Algarve Hotel hosted the highly anticipated Algarve Gala Dinner, a prestigious event celebrating business excellence and community spirit in the region. With more than 100 distinguished businesspeople in attendance, the evening was graced by the presence of the British Ambassador to Portugal, Lisa Bandari, as the guest of honour.

A central element of the evening was the heartfelt fundraising campaign for Associação Madrugada, a local charity providing care and support for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses and bereavement. Thanks to the generosity of attendees, an impressive €1,300 was raised, underscoring the community’s commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
Ambassador Lisa Bandari, in her keynote address, emphasized the strong ties between the Algarve and the UK and praised the event’s focus on Portugal-UK trade relations.
