Two people were killed in a head-on collision on the EN122 road in Castro Marim on Wednesday morning.
One of the victims was identified as 46-year-old journalist and father-of-two Domingos Viegas, who worked for Jornal do Algarve. The other was identified as a 21-year-old man.
Traffic on the road was still cut off as the Resident went to press.
