Algarve MP for PSD Bruno Inácio has requested “more support” for the region’s tourism sector during a recent meeting with national tourism boss João Cotrim de Figueiredo.
Inácio also said that more work needs to be done to attract new tourism markets to the Algarve, as well as new cruise liners to Portimão.
“It has to be a joint effort, including national and regional entities, entrepreneurs and workers of the sector,” he said.
