Accident happened at 9.13am
A man was killed this morning in the Algarve, following a collision with the regional train at the Areal Gordo/ Salgados railway crossing.
It is not clear from initial reports whether the man was on foot, in a car or using some other method of transport.
All that has been reported is that there was a collision, leading to the temporary interruption of the railway between Faro and Olhão.
