Nearly 200,000 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine have been administered in the Algarve in five months, according to the national health board’s (DGS) latest vaccination report.
In the last week alone (May 17 to 23), a total of 22,750 people received a jab, nearly 2,000 more than the week prior (May 10 to 16).
This means that 31% of the Algarve’s population has already received at least one dose of the vaccine.
