In a bid to distance itself from the catastrophic legacy of former CEO Zeinal Bava, PT’s new owners Altice have announced that they will shortly be ‘abandoning’ the brands PT and Meo and assuming a “global identity”: Altice. The change will take place in the next 12 months, reports Público – leaving Portugal only with the Sapo, Moche and Uzo labels “dedicated to specific segments” of the telecommunications sector.
