The Altice Group Workers’ Union in Portugal (STPT) has once again requested the presence of the CEO at collective labour agreement negotiations to clarify the news about the possible sale of the company, stressing that when a company is sold, “it is common for workers to experience uncertainty about the future of their jobs and positions. It is understood that the group is keen to sell Altice Portugal in order to reduce its €60 billion debt to share- and bondholders. Altice Portugal is also involved in a multi-million criminal investigation.
