A vibrant display of Argentine dancing – under the name ‘Así Baila Argentina’ (This is How Argentina Dances) – will be coming to Loulé’s Cine-Teatro Louletano on February 22 at 9.30pm.
The show will focus on Argentina’s main dancing genres, including multiple styles of malambo (a specific native dance performed by men only), Zamba, Gato, Poncho and, of course, Argentine Tango, which was considered World Intangible Heritage by UNESCO in 2009.
Accompanying the dancers/percussionists will be a live band, made up of a pianist, guitar player/percussionist and bandoneonist (small accordion used mostly in South America).
Tickets cost €10 and can be purchased at the theatre or reserved.
