Between November 15 and 17, the luxurious family resort will showcase the work of exceptional artists, artisans, brands, and entrepreneurs.
The Algarve’s luxurious Martinhal family resort is gearing up for three full days of creativity and wellbeing. Now in its twelfth edition, the Art, Design and Wellbeing Weekend is making a comeback between November 15 and 17 and will be open to guests.
Focusing on craftsmanship, environmental sustainability and the importance of caring for ourselves, the event features a lineup of diverse nationally and internationally renowned creatives, artists, artisans, brands and entrepreneurs, providing them with a platform to showcase their work.
This year’s collaborators feature resident artist Márcio Vilela, who will present an impressive array of photographs inspired by the hotel’s surroundings and the region’s natural splendour, along with guest chef Nirmal Save from Lisbon’s Gunpowder restaurant, who will prepare a unique menu on Saturday night, paired with Herdade do Peso wines from Alentejo.
Among the drinks available over the weekend, Macieira Cream and Monkey 47 will make their mark with specially crafted cocktails.
Creativity and design will come to life with presentations by Bora Design, ceramist Maria Dias Palma, furniture designer Miguel Saboya, book publisher Monade, Atelier East by florist Anita Parilova, and stylish Cupra automobiles.
Fashion will be brought by sustainable brands, such as Cura by the Sea and Burel Factory, all the way from the Serra da Estrela and Wolf & Rita children’s wear.
As for wellbeing, sensorial experiences will include presentations and workshops by famous brand Claus Porto, Pigmentarium perfumes from Prague, and luxurious Sisley cosmetics from Paris.

While certain events, such as workshops, have a restricted number of participants and require prior reservations, all Martinhal guests are welcome to attend general presentations, allowing them to fully engage in the event’s offerings.
The resort has put together a special package for overnight guests: two nights for €174 per night for two adults and one baby (up to two years), with breakfast included.
All activities, including chef Nirmal Save’s special dinner on November 16 (€90/person with wine pairing), are subject to availability and pre-booking.
