MILLENNIUM BCP bank has been awarded the status of best investment bank in Portugal by Global Finance magazine.
This is the fourth consecutive year the bank has been awarded this status by the finance magazine and reflects the capacity of the bank in the investment banking sector.
The list of the world’s best investment banks in the magazine looks at banking institutions operating in 23 countries and has listed the Millennium BCP bank as being the top bank in Portugal in relation to investment banking.

Giarraputo said: “The last 12 months have been very difficult for all investment banks but many of the institutions worldwide have managed to continue to offer the best services possible to their clients.”
Criteria used to assess the banks included their performance in the market, the volume of operations undertaken, levels of client satisfaction, innovation and initiatives put in place to combat adverse market conditions.
