A baby was born in an ambulance of the Lagos Volunteer Firefighters in the early hours of Wednesday, November 22.
The ambulance was called to transport the soon-to-be-mother to the hospital.
However, the urgency of the labour required the emergency responders to conduct the delivery while en route to the Algarve University Hospital Centre (CHUA). Both the newborn and the mother “are in good health”, the firefighters said on their Facebook page.
