The Bank of Portugal has issued a warning over ‘another unlicensed credit agency’. SF – Soluções Financeiras (website https://solucoesfinanceiras.pt): “is not authorised to carry out in Portugal any financial activity subject to the supervision of Banco de Portugal, such as lending, intermediation or advisory services related with credit agreements”.
The central bank stresses names of licensed agencies can be found on its own site: https://www.bportugal.pt/
This is the second warning of its kind in the space of little more than a week. On March 5 the Bank sent out a similar alert over an agency operating through the site: “creditoparticulares@outlook.pt”
