Belgian tourist goes missing on walking trail in Azores

Authorities on São Miguel island, Azores, are still searching for a 54-year-old Belgian tourist who went missing on Sunday while on the walking trail to Lagoa do Fogo. The man’s female partner reported his disappearance – it is not clear in what context: whether the pair were walking together and then took separate paths, or whether the man was out walking alone. Since Sunday, searches have widened beyond the hiking trail. Police have been using a drone, and sniffer dogs.
