Prime Minister Luís Montenegro said today that “the best gateway” for the country to have “successful immigration” is higher education institutions, taking advantage of the talent coming from abroad for a more competitive national economy. Luís Montenegro was speaking at the inauguration of the expansion of the Alentejo Science and Technology Park (PACT) in Évora. He suggested that projects like this help to “retain, maintain and take advantage of” the talent of young Portuguese, but also to attract foreigners”.
