THE BRITISH government is angry at a new product aimed at helping students cheat their way through exams.
The Canadian ExamEar is a tiny receiver which fits snugly, and invisibly, into a user’s ear.
The website, now reportedly ‘under construction’, had said: “No more memorising long and boring speeches. No more screwing your friends or group members. No more thinking about getting caught by using old notes – paper techniques. Listen to music whenever you want, at any time – in class”.
British newspaper, The Telegraph reported: “Students using the device called, appropriately, the ExamEar, could be silently called on their mobile phone by an accomplice outside while they could talk back to them via a tiny microphone sensitive enough to pick up whispers,” says the story.
