Biting justice

A GNR police officer was bitten on the face and hand, and violently whacked over the back with a rock while trying to arrest a man suspected of stealing from properties all over Loulé. Despite the attack, the officer was able to subdue his suspect and take him in for questioning. Both men later received medical attention at the local health centre.
