IN LAST week’s It’s a Funny Old World, it was reported that police stopped a man in southern Estonia when they suspected that he was driving under the influence of alcohol but when his mouth kept missing the tube of the breath test, they realised he blind, not drunk. It seems that the man has been up to his old tricks. Police pulled over a car five days after the first incident, only to realise that the same blind man was behind the wheel again. He had three passengers giving him directions, but this time he was drunk. In court, police were pushing for the man to receive at least 30 days in prison and have his car confiscated.
