The body of a young woman, found half naked close to the water’s edge in Culatra island, near Faro, on Sunday morning, has still not been identified. Reports today suggest the body showed no signs of violence. There were also no apparent possessions/ documents in the vicinity. It is a ‘mystery’ how the woman came to be where the body was found. “An autopsy will be crucial to try and discover the causes of death”, writes tabloid Correio da Manhã.
