For now it is not looking like murder, but PJ police are working on the theory that ‘something might have happened’ to precipitate the death of a 68-year-old emigré whose body was discovered early yesterday morning in a cornfield, 200 metres from his home in Carapeços, Barcelos. The man had left home (the night before) to visit a local café. As reports explain, the circumstances of this tragedy are “not clear”.
