A body in an elevated state of decomposition (to the point that gender is not even clear) has been found today, in the area of Caxias, in the municipality of Oeiras (Lisbon district). Authorities stress it is definitely not the body of the young Cape Verdean man who disappeared in the Tejo river last Saturday after falling in near Caís de Sodré. It could be the body of “someone who went missing in February”. The body of a missing Nepalese citizen who disappeared while harvesting claims near the Vasco da Gama bridge earlier this month was finally discovered last weekend. Reports today add that searches are ongoing in different parts of the country for swimmers who ‘went missing’ over the weekend.
