The body of a man was discovered in Azinhaga do Serrado, Carnide (Lisbon) yesterday, in a wheelbarrow. He had been stabbed multiple times, and according to reports, still had a blade sticking out of his chest. The macabre find appears already to have a number of leads: Correio da Manhã tabloid has said the suspect is a homeless man, well known to his 68-year-old victim and members of the victim’s family. “PSP police are investigating after receiving a tip off that a man in dark clothes and a hat was transporting a body in Azinhaga das Freiras”. The understanding is that the suspect wheeled the body to Azinhaga do Serrado, and then made off.
