Police are investigating the discovery of a dead baby in the rubbish sorting area of a solid waste treatment company in Trajouce, in the municipality of Cascais. Everything points to the baby having been newly ‘born’. Investigations are now taking place to try and discover what happened (was the baby stillborn, or did something else happen?). The alert was sounded at 1.30pm today, so further details may come shortly.
