Bond success

There were definitely some strange goings-on in Carvoeiro recently, as dinner-suited men with guns and glamorous ladies with knives flocked together to mingle, while the sound of clinking cocktail glasses and Bond movie themes filled the air. However, we are pleased to report it was all for Havana Bar’s 007 James Bond night. The evening was very well attended and the canapés were washed down with the ubiquitous dry martinis – shaken not stirred! Bottles of champagne were awarded to the best-dressed individual and couple, and a hugely successful raffle was held on behalf of the Lagoa Bombeiros. The bar has promised more special event theme nights in Carvoeiro throughout this summer, so watch this space!
