The theme of the evening was Black & White
On the day of Carnival, 25 confrères of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs and their friends gathered at the Brazilian restaurant Sabores do Churrasco Premium in Faro to celebrate the day.
The theme of the evening was Black & White and the dinner a typical Brazilian Rodízio. This consists of a variety of roasts cooked on the spit and sliced at the table on your plate.

After the welcome cocktail, we were treated to a table of appetizers, followed by an excellent choice of rump steak, rib eye, sirloin, rib of beef, filet mignon, and even a roasted pineapple in cinnamon. All this thinly sliced and served very efficiently by the dedicated waiters, with a choice of sauces and accompanying dishes of rice, black bean, chips and cabbage, and, of course, plenty of wine to get it down! There was also a choice of desserts, but very few of the party had any space left for this.
The Black & White theme inspired quite a few of our members to dress up for the occasion, and we had a strange mix ranging from Sylvester the Cat to Zorro, some mafiosi, a Maleficent Mistress of Evil, and a pretty black swan.
A very nice and entertaining evening as usual with Chaîne events.
