Brazilian twins favoritism investigation: police search rental accommodation

In another bizarre twist in the ‘favoritism scandal’ involving Brazilian twin babies, PJ police are understood to have searched the rental accommodation used by the twins’ family  when the children came to Portugal for their treatment (with the most expensive remedy in the world…) The house in Cascais is now rented by another family. According to reports, police were looking for documents and wheelchairs “paid for by the Portuguese State”. They reportedly went through the property “with a fine-toothed comb”, but found no documents or wheelchairs. The twins’ mother is due to address a parliamentary committee into this scandal on June 21.
