Dozens of Brazilians have been protesting in front of Portugal’s consulate general in São Paulo – as well as outside other consulates in the country – about delays in issuing work visas, some requested more than five months ago, and still unanswered. Many of the demonstrators are angry over being separated from family members who are already in Portugal, explain reports. The protests yesterday went on for some hours, with little coming by way of explanations or assurances from the consulates themselves.
