The British ambassador to Portugal, Lisa Bandari, added her voice to the chorus of shock and lamentations following the killing of three children in Monday’s knife attack in the UK. Recognising that one of the victims was the daughter of parents who originate from Madeira, Ms Bandari offered her “deepest condolences” via the ‘X’ social network, also carrying the words of King Charles, who has equally lamented the attack.
