A 30-year-old British man was caught red-handed trying to escape from Lisbon’s jail (EPL) on Monday.
Marco Roscaleer, kept in custody since May for crimes of theft and kidnapping that took place in the Algarve, covered his body in some kind of oil and tried to slide through the bars of his cell window.
This is his second botched escape, after he had already tried to break out of Silves jail earlier this year.
