A British man, aged 60, collapsed yesterday on Albufeira’s Peneco beach and was ‘re-animated’ by the prompt action of lifeguards and INEM rescue services. Very few details have been given on this incident. It is unclear whether the man was a tourist, whether he had been swimming. But the main point is that he essentially ‘died’ and was brought back to life and transported quickly to hospital.
