Portimão PJ police are searching for the body of a British woman whom they believe was killed and buried by her husband in the garden of their Monte Canelas home, near Alvor.
According to police, the woman, whose identity was not revealed, had been missing since November. SIC Notícias reports that the criminal police suspect the husband is involved in her disappearance and arrested him today (January 6).
Local firefighters are reportedly helping the police in the search.
