Burning body in dumpster: more details emerge

More details have emerged about the body found burning in a Seixal dumpster yesterday morning. Early reports that the body was in “an elevated state of decomposition” seem to have been precipitous. Today, the understanding is that the man (this much has been verified) was initially doused in petrol before his body was set alight. Whether he was alive when he was doused in petrol will only come clear following an autopsy, which will now be taking place. For the time being, there is still no clue as to the man’s identity. Investigators are currently going through missing persons reports that might shed some light. Information in the media today is that the body was very badly burnt, as was the dumpster.
