Ralph Griffin’s Captain’s Day took place at Floresta Parque Golf Club recently and over 100 competitors took to the course for an individual Stableford competition. Ralph commented: “There was an excellent turnout and it was a really enjoyable day. The lively banter after the competition was evidence of the great time we all had – my thanks to everyone that played.” Later that evening, Ralph and his wife, Jeanette, presented over 35 prizes at a celebratory dinner dance. In first place, with a score of 42, was Don Bayley, while Bob Kelly took second place with 40 points. Just pipped to the post in third place, with 38 points, was John Brodie.
