Cars towed in Silves

Silves Câmara workers have removed five abandoned vehicles in Armação de Pêra and Vila de Pêra this month. The ‘Abandoned on Public Access’ scheme, which was introduced at the beginning of this year, allows the câmara to remove old cars that have been left on local streets. A câmara spokesperson revealed that they are now requesting all residents in the Silves area to remove their unused vehicles from the public highways, otherwise they will be towed.
