Group’s mid-term investments to exceed €100 million
The Carvoeiro Clube Group has taken over the management of Ferragudo’s Bricia du Mar Hotel, marking a “significant milestone” in the company’s long-term expansion strategy.
The Bricia du Mar Hotel, which opened in April 2022 on the outskirts of Ferragudo, features 59 rooms and studios, two on-site restaurants, a pool bar and a rooftop bar, a gym and a spa, open to both guests and the public.
Says Carvoeiro Clube Group in a press statement: “Beyond its mediterranean flair and modern conveniences, Bricia du Mar excels with its choice location near some of the Algarve’s most beautiful beaches including Praia do Molhe, Pintadinho, Caneiros and Ferragudo’s Praia Grande. The charming fishing village of Ferragudo is a favourite among Algarve lovers, known for its pleasant atmosphere and some of the finest seafood restaurants in the area.
“This most recent acquisition strengthens Carvoeiro Clube Group’s position as a leader in luxury hospitality management in the central Algarve region.”
Bricia du Mar is the second hotel under the group’s management, joining the Vivenda Miranda Boutique Hotel in Lagos.
Last September, the group took over the management of the Ocean View Residences, an exclusive resort in Carvoeiro, located near the Algar Seco area, featuring six one-bedroom and 16 two-bedroom apartments, specifically designated for long-term rental.
With the newest addition of the Bricia du Mar Hotel, the group now manages more than 500 accommodations across 10 different resorts, along with two hotels, four beach studios in Carvoeiro and a guesthouse in Lagoa.
Andreas Stocker, owner of the Carvoeiro Clube Group, says: “Our plan, together with our investment partners, is to invest over €100 million in this region (Carvoeiro-Lagoa) over the next five years. Throughout all our activities, our focus will be on innovation, sustainability and job creation while preserving and celebrating this region’s beautiful heritage.”
