Last weekend, 44 golfers participated in “The Grand Cup” by Wyndham Grand Algarve to help support the “Casa da Primeira Infância” Association.
The Wyndham Grand Algarve held the second edition of its charity tournament, “The Grand Cup”, at Quinta do Lago’s South course and Vale do Lobo’s Royal course last weekend.
The special solidarity golf tournament saw 44 golfers participate in various initiatives and challenges, such as “Beat The Pro”, which helped raise funds for the Casa da Primeira Infância Association in Loulé.
Their participation was crucial, as 50% of their registration fee reverted to the association dedicated to helping disadvantaged children.
The tournament also included a Golf Clinic with DP World Tour professional player Ricardo Santos, an awards dinner, and an auction at the XXL by Olivier restaurant, during which the participants made significant contributions to the institution.
Several entities joined this cause and supported the initiative, such as PRA, Centro Porsche de Faro and Golf Titleist & Footjoy Specialist, as well as media partners Portugal News, CN Sports, and the “Golf e Golfistas” Sport TV programme.
