CHEGA’s New Year message: ‘Let 2025 be the year of “definitive affirmation” that CHEGA is a party for an alternative’, could be seen as an ambition lifted from the winning side in the last US elections. Delivering his party’s focus for the next 12 months, leader André Ventura pointed to the upcoming municipal elections, and very possibly regional legislative elections in Madeira, stressing that the “goal is always one: to end this system, to change the country once and for all (…) 2025 brings that opportunity, we can’t miss it (…) I feel 2025 is going to be our year”.
