The seven year old boy shot in the head from a passing car in the Bela Vista neighbourhood of Setúbal yesterday died “during the night”. Sources at Lisbon’s Santa Maria Hospital confirmed the death this morning, saying “unfortunately, in spite of all the efforts of the clinical teams” it was not possible to save the child’s life. The alleged shooter – a man whose identity is known by police – is still being actively sought.
