Children’s Day

June 1 is International Children’s Day, so what better time to treat your child to something a little special?

C&A

With a shop in Forum Algarve, Faro, and another at the recently opened Portimão Retail Canter, C&A has a great new collection for youngsters.

The collection was designed to give kids full freedom of movement and comfort, while also offering them an excellent choice in bright colours and fabrics, whether it be for school, holidays or parties. Little Linen Chest

A newly launched website, www.littlelinenchest.co.uk, is a fantastic place for children’s sheets and duvet covers. All products are made in the north of Portugal in 100 per cent pure cotton with a 200 thread count weave. They are also made under the Oeko Tex guarantee of ‘tested for harmful chemicals’ which makes them safer for our children than many ordinary cotton sheets. To entice children to their beds at bedtime, the collection is embroidered with a wide range of beautiful designs from dinosaurs to fairies. Although the products are made in Portugal, they are currently only available to buy online.

Guys & Dolls

Guys & Dolls children’s boutique has moved to their new location – next door to their previous premises! The shop is HUGE and all the kids’ shoes and clothes are of the usual high standards that have made this shop so popular. A 20 per cent discount is available on a second pair of shoes purchased together and there are plenty of minus 50 per cent bargains as well! Greeting cards for all occasions, Jellycat soft toys, baby clothes, Petit Bateau underwear and summer clothes are available for girls and boys up to age 10, as well as lovely party dresses for girls and a beautiful swimwear range.

This is the only shop in Portugal that offers to measure your child’s feet for length and width. Avenida 5 de Outubro, Almancil High Street.Open Mon – Fri 10 – 6pm – closed for lunch 1 – 2.30pm. 933 326 471 1″>news
