“Celebrate with us in safety”: this is the slogan chosen this year by PSP police running the Christmas and New Year traffic campaigns. This year’s effort begins today, running until Tuesday January 2. Expect to see more patrols beside roadsides, and hopes this year are that accidents don’t mirror the same disasters of last. In the 2022 campaign, authorities registered 459 fatal accidents – the highest number since 2018.
