A citizen’s protest will be held on Thursday at 6pm outside Portimão Hospital against the constant closure of its maternity unit and other major issues affecting the hospital.
The demonstration is being organised by the Portimão National Health Service Users’ Commission.
“There is a regression of the health services provided at Portimão Hospital. Patients are against it, and will fight to stop it,” says a statement by the commission.
