Climate activists ‘attack’ again. This time Lisbon airport

Climate activists whose Lisbon-centric ‘protests’ have become “repetitive” (according to President Marcelo) were back again today, this time in the city’s airport, protesting about the plan for a new terminal – and maintaining that this is “a crime”. Even an extension of the current ‘rundown’ airport is, says the group, “a crime”. And there was paint: lots of red paint, thrown over the departures board (meaning people found it difficult to check the timetables). At least three demonstrators were arrested.
