Surely you must receive countless complaints by owners of commercial vehicles about the amount of stop checks and fines they demand.
Just about everybody with a commercial vehicle makes detours on a daily basis to avoid being stopped. I myself drive a van and get stopped on a weekly basis by these people (GNR).
Only last week I received a fine for 250 euros for not having my van MOT inspection done before the registration date of September 19.
Although I agree my ignorance of this new law is not an excuse, I do think 250 euros is completely over the top. Only the week before, I was fined for having some leftover pieces of wood after a job in my van. I find it wrong to have to justify every little piece of scrap wood I have onboard.
