The costs of construction are still increasing, with latest data for January showing they are up 1.9% on costs for the same month in 2023, and 0.2% on costs just a month earlier (December 2023). According to INE statistics institute, this is not because the cost of materials is still increasing, but due to the increase in labour costs.
