Construction of the Quatro Estradas roundabout starts this week in Olhão as part of the renovation works underway on Avenida D. João VI.
The €600,000 project aims to improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety, with completion expected in four months, the municipal council says.
The area will welcome more parking, pedestrian paths, lighting, and landscaping. However, temporary traffic diversions will be in place.
