Continente hosts open-air cinema sessions

The supermarket chain is offering 40 free open-air cinema sessions from north to south of the country until September 1.

This summer, Continente stores are hosting cinema nights where you can enjoy one of the six best films of recent times. In total, there will be 40 free, open-air cinema sessions in the main locations of Continente stores across the country.

Customers are invited to vote on the initiative’s website, cinemanapraca.continent.pt, to choose the film they want to see from the six most-watched films of last year. The winning film is announced four days before the session.

Among the options are “Beautiful Wedding” (2024), “Bob Marley: One Love” (2024), “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” (2023), “Pôr do Sol: O Mistério do Colar de São Cajó” (2023), “Mission Impossible – Reckoning” (2023) and “The Marvels” (2023).

Each session will have an average of 400 seats available, and according to Continente, popcorn will be distributed in the venue.

The brand’s objective is “to be closer to the communities where Continente stores are located, in relevant spaces in each location”.
