Counting down to opening night

“Whose Life is it Anyway?” by Algarveans Experimental Theatre will be playing at the Lagoa Municipal Auditorium on the nights of November 22, 23 and 24.

Rehearsals have been taking place at the local Bombeiros hall over the last three months and fun has been had by all the cast and crew alike with Paul Kloegman directing with great energy and enthusiasm.

An interview with Paul, together with Tracey Christansen who is playing Sister Anderson and Rui Louzeiro, who is playing the cheeky orderly John, can be heard on Sunday, November 18, during Owen Gee’s programme on Kiss FM (95.8FM) at 11am.

The play challenges society’s belief as to who is in charge of our destiny but also contains much humour and even romance.

The theatre at Lagoa has plenty of parking, it is easily found just off the N125, is warm, comfortable and has plenty of space for wheelchair users.

Join The Algarveans in raising money for the local community whilst enjoying an evening at the theatre.

And why not join the group, be it to help behind the scenes, with press and publicity or on stage – there is an array of opportunities to do what you enjoy and make new friends at the same time. Ask any member of the front of house team for more information or visit their website, www.thealgarveans.com

Curtain up for “Whose Life is it Anyway?” is at 7.45pm with the bar opening at 7pm. Don’t forget to order your interval drinks before the show starts in order to avoid any queuing.
